What is it?
An eight-week bootcamp to learn about building on NEAR

The course is completely free, but highly selective

It consists of live Zoom classes (1.5h, two days a week)

It’s taught by a leading instructor and a teaching assistant

There is homework and hacking projects to accelerate personal study

We help place graduates in jobs in the blockchain space
Curriculum
· Introduction to NEAR ·
Blockchain intro; distributed consensus layer; NEAR; on-chain entities/actors; asynchronous transaction execution model; the nine action types; basic NEAR interactions
· Rust ·
Rust basics; smart contract development basics in Rust; advanced smart contract development; deep dive into nearcore and near-sdk
· Security ·
· BOS Components ·
Setting up your development environment; forking; secure development practices; basic front-end; BOS gateway architecture; near.social API
Eligibility and selection process
• Open to absolutely anyone to apply •
• Some web3 or blockchain experience expected •
• Programme is designed to be part-time •
• You must commit to attending each of the weekday evening classes •
• After registering, the best will be chosen for interview and thereafter selected for the programme •
• A small deposit is required to participate, repaid upon successful completion of the Bootcamp •
